As a national institution for data collection, analysis, report writing, dissemination, research and training, we accept students preferably in their final year and fresh graduates to come and have some practical experience with us both at the HQ in Freetown and at our offices across the districts in Sierra Leone. Since we wish to ensure that interns have adequate supervision when with us, we will publish intermittently the Divisions and Departments which have space to supervise students and new graduates.
Interns who have successfully gone through our selection process are paid a monthly allowance of Le500,000. Those who come from established programmes like Graduate Corps are given Le200,000 in addition to what their programmes offer them.
Our interns are given specific tasks and their performance is monitored and evaluated.
Please note that the period of internship is fixed and is between four to six months.
