The Vision of Statistics Sierra Leone is to create a viable National Statistical System (NSS) with Statistics Sierra Leone at the centre for the coordination, production, dissemination and accreditation of official statistics to support evidence-based decision-making processes at both policy and planning levels.


The mission of the Statistics Sierra Leone is to coordinate, collect, compile, analyse and disseminate high quality and best-practiced official statistics to assist informed decision-making, and discussion within the government, business and the media, as well as the wider national and international community.
