Emmanuel Y. Musa is an Assistant Statistician in the Logistics and Operations Section in the Operations Division at Statistics Sierra Leone (Stats SL). Mr. Musa joined Stats SL in March 2002 as a mapping officer in the 2004 PHC as a contract staff. He was deployed to the cartographic section of then Censuses and Surveys Division as a cartographer; he served as District Technical coordinator for the 2004 PHC for Kono District. He became a permanent staff of SSL in January 2005 and worked as a cartographer. In 2006, he was among the first core staff to be deployed to the newly created censuses and GIS division as cartographer/Asst. GIS Officer, a position he held until 2010 when he was relocated to the Districts as District Statistician.

David Jibao Walters is a statistician with nine (9) years of working experience in research and statistical work. Before joining Stats.SL, he worked with UNICEF as a child protection officer in Moyamba district. He has worked in several statistical projects ranging from the 2004 Housing and Population Census, the first Demographic and Health Survey (DHS) in 2008 and many other statistical projects. Mr. Walters has worked as a District Statistician in Bonthe district for four (4) years and later in the same capacity in Kailahun district for four (4) years before transferring to the statistics head office in Freetown as Officer in Charge, coordinating Stats SL districts’ operations, a position he is currently occupying.

Nyakeh Gaima is an Assistant Statistician in the Operations Division of Statistics Sierra Leone. He has three years of work experience in Admin, Social Work, and Survey Research in the areas of health, and customs broker services. Nyakeh also worked with Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) as Health Promoter and Majidrah Clearing and Forwarding Agency as Operations Manager. Nyakeh is a fervent believer in teamwork and working collaboratively for achieving milestones and delivering key performance indicator results.
